Alaska Hunting Specialists

Experience the Ultimate Hunting Adventure as you explore "The Lost Coast" in your search for huge Alaska-Yukon Moose, Giant Brown Bear, and Record Book Mountain Goats and Coastal Black Bear. Hunt over 70 miles of coast line that is bordered in the back by the Wrangell Saint Elias National Park. Thrill to these magnificent Coastal Waters of Alaska that are located northwest of Yakutat. View dormant volcanoes, rugged coastlines, and majestic mountains that seem to drop magically into the ocean. Cruise past ancient glaciers as they crawl into the sea creating walls of ice that tower hundreds of feet into the air. Observe Humpback Whales, Orca Killer Whales, Stellar Sea Lions, Seals, Sea Otters, and hundreds of thousands of sea birds in their Rookeries.

Hunt the giant Brown Bear, the Alaskan trophy that is included on the list of the "World's Top 10 Trophies" by world renowned hunters. Pursue the elusive pure white Mountain Goat that inhabits the Coastal Mountains of Alaska. Hunt them from the comfort of a boat in September when their winter hair is six to eight inches long and they are migrating down from their lofty peaks to lower levels with the first snow fall. Enjoy an easy hunt in the Spring when the Black Bear are found along the shoreline coves and meadows filling themselves with beach grass. Add a handsome Sitka BlackTail Deer to your trophy collection. Hunt large trophy Moose on the Coast where the genetics can produce some hugh racks. Or take a break from hunting and enjoy some fishing for Salmon or the monster Halibut that are easily taken from the cold waters of Alaska.

Feast like kings on New York Steaks and chops, crab and other fresh sea foods, fresh vegetables and fruits, good desserts, and plenty of snacks and beverages. All of which are easily kept chilled and fresh in the boat,s spacious coolers.

Your hunting home is an ocean going vessel. There are state rooms with bunks and also bathrooms and showers. Enjoy hot and cold running water, toilets, and plenty of hot water for showers after an exhilarating day of hunting. The boat is operated by a captain licensed by the US Coast Guard and is outfitted with top of the line life saving and navigation equipment which is regularly inspected by the USCG.

The boat has a wide range and can cover a great deal of hunting country. Depending on the animals being sought, your hunting area includes Kodiak Island, Afognak Island, the Alaskan Peninsula, the waters from Homer to Seward, Prince William Sound, and the Coast of Alaska from Valdez to Yakutat. You will be able to explore places that are difficult for other hunters to reach.

Vern Humble is your host and outfitter. He has over 30 years of experience hunting professionally in Alaska. In addition to conducting cruise hunts he is also offering special hunts for Dall Sheep, Black Bear, Brown/Grizzly Bear, Mountain Goat, and Caribou in other game rich areas throughout Alaska. This year he is offering two Special Land Based Hunts. The first hunt is for Brown/Grizzly Bear and Black Bear for 10 days on the upper Skwentna River in August and September. This area has a bag limit allowing two Brown/Grizzly Bear and 3 Black Bear per season. It also features time to fish for Rainbow Trout and Salmon. The second hunt is for Trophy Moose on the Coast of Alaska where the antlers can measure over 70 inches wide. In addition to Coastal Brown Bear this area is exceptional for trophy Mountain Goat as it is seldom hunted. There is also an good population of big Coastal Black Bear. A high percentage of the Black Bear will make the record Book. For the Icing on the cake there is World Class Silver Salmon Fishing in September. Contact us for information about these two outstanding Alaskan hunts.
