About Us
Vern Humble is your host and outfitter. He has been
successfully conducting hunts and guiding hunters in the State
of Alaska for over 30 years. He has experience in all of Alaska
and with every one of Alaska's regulated Big Game Animals,
including having successfully guided clients for Walrus on
the Polar Ice Flows and Musk-Ox in the Arctic. He guided for
many years from the World renowned Rainy Pass Lodge, making
friends around the world, gaining rich wonderful memories,
and sometimes having more experiences than he bargained for
as he guided his hunters on horseback.
Vern is a licensed Registered Guide in the State of Alaska,
holding license number 382. In addition he has a private pilots
license and received a U. S. Coast Guard license to operate
25 ton vessels in the Coastal waters of Alaska. He has several
years of experience running a vessel in Southeastern Alaska
along the Inside Passage.
Vern has traveled and hunted extensively throughout the World. He has been on Safari in such exotic countries as Tanzania, Zambia, Central Africa, Rhodesia, Mongolia, Russia, Macedonia, Kazakhstan, and Mexico just to name some of those countries. He has taken hundreds of trophies on these safaris including big Elephants, a full dark maned Lion, Cape Buffalo, Leopard, and the World's largest sheep, an Argali.
With his depth of knowledge and experience in the hunting
world and his dedication to provide clients with a quality
Alaskan Safari, Vern is able to not only offer the ultimate
in wilderness adventure with these Custom Hunting Cruises,
but also special hunts in other game rich areas throughout
Alaska. It is Vern's goal and desire to help sportsmen and
women from around the World live their dream, just as he has,
by providing a quality Alaskan adventure that each deserves
and should expect.
